Denver Zoo, Part 2

This chameleon had such bright colors, I've never seen one like him.

 This animal was just weird it looked an antelope but it's legs had zebra stripes

 This is that bird that about took our heads off.

 This bird was pretty cool, they showed us how it eats with a fake lizard.  He took the lizard pecked at it's belly they took it over to a flat rock and repeatedly slammed it on the rock.

DENVER ZOO!

Some of the wives here with edge invited us to go to the zoo with them today, Memorial Day, I was a little worried about the crowds. They were pretty busy but it wasn't awful and the weather was absolutely beautiful!  We got to see lots of fun animals. About 1 1/2 hours into our time there, the rest of our group said they were ready to go home. We weren't, so we stayed since I drove myself. We ended up staying another 2 hours. We got to see an exotic animal show, have a snack (giant pretzel), and take our time.

 Poor Brax he has to use all his strength to hold Logan, but they sure are cute.

  bongo drums!!! he was having fun even though he wouldn't smile

 stopped for a snack he was happy to get some yummy food.

We got to experience a wildlife show! This large bird about took our heads off, Brax shrieked and Logan was not about to take his eye off that bird.

After the show we got to go see some of the animals up close.

 

And to finish off the day the Lions came out to see us goodbye!
