The Beginning of our Springtime

Since the dirt isn't the best down here and we didn't want to move more rocks, we decided to plant our garden this way. Brandon has seen a few people doing this in their backyard while he was spraying this past fall and people said that their gardens do pretty well. So we have decided to try it.
In this one I planted Cantaloupe, Watermelon, Zucchini, Summer Squash, and Tomato.
We'll see how this does, I might have to move the tomato.
Okay now, in this one I planted Beans, Carrots and Lettuce. They should do well.
This is just a pretty little flower that grows in my yard and blooms maybe twice a month.
When I came in from planting the garden I found this cute scene.

This was just funny to find him looking like he fell asleep talking on his phone.
He got my sun glasses! I tried to get them back but he was being so silly I grabbed the camera instead.
Standing by moms outline drawing of Braxton
and by Dad's outline drawing of Braxton. Dad did it first, so I guess you can say I copied him.
And an outline of Lucky, the poor dog.
This is actually 4ft high on our fence. Yes, Brandon held him up there and did this, I was not out there.
Being silly and cute
Playing in the dirt with his trucks and his shovel. I had to buy him his own little plastic shovel, cause as you can see in the next few pics, he loves to play with the shovel in the dirt.

He had to wear my garden gloves, he thought he was so cool.
Don't ya love his outfit, nice shirt and pj pants.
One of the funnest games for lucky is to bury his tennis ball in the dirt and have him find it and dig it up, well brax thought it was pretty fun too. So we ended up doing this for quite a while.
They found it!!

Looking for more buried treasure, even though there wasn't anything buried. But they didn't know that, they were just having fun digging in the dirt.
Having Fun Jumping on the Trampoline!
and Lucky leaped onto the tramp right as I took the picture, which isn't good. He thinks it's a game to bark and bark and bark at you when he is on there. It's major annoying!
SEE! Braxton is laughing and at the same time telling Lucky to Ssshhhhh!
Whoops! he jumped too high for his little legs and toppled over backwards.

Braxton is in love with his new honey bear sippy cup!
I think they're cute little bottles and I didn't want to throw it away, so I started thinking about what to do with it and this is what I came up with.

Funny little story to start off with:

Braxton was outside playing the the backyard and Brandon and I were inside. I was cleaning the kitchen when I heard the water on out side. I went to the back door and saw braxton spraying down our dirt patch, which was now mud. I said his name and scared him, he looked at me and turned the spray nozzle towards me! I quickly shut the door and he sat there laughing and spraying the door while I stood there, That little stinker would not let me out the door. So I went around the back way and since we have rocks in the back yard he heard me coming, and the minute he saw me he turned the water on me, I had to wait until he turned his back and ran to grab him. Well, after grabbing him I was wet he was soaked and he was now screaming as we turned off the water and walked into the house. Now normally I wouldn't care one bit, but it was only 59 degrees outside and he was trying to get over a cold. So he continued to scream and scream, I told him he was going to have a warm bath. His response was "Bath? Bath?" I said "yes bath in the tub" and his screaming reply was "NO! NO! BATH OUTSIDE, BATH OUTSIDE."
Oh, what a 2yr old.

I just thought this picture was interesting, can you tell why? I have no clue what happened with the camera to make it do this. They were playing fetch with lucky, Brandon was just sitting there and throwing the ball up on the roof and it would fall off on the side of the house and brax and lucky would chase after it.
Our little Dare Devil! I finally captured a picture of him going down the slide head first.
No, No, Brax! I keep telling him to stop putting rocks in this little hole on the slide, but honestly what two year old listens. I'll have to put some tape on it or something.

This just goes to show you how much he loves his CARS slippers, holes already and he just got them at christmas.
I looked out the window and saw Brax rubbing lucky's belly, saying "ickle ickle ickle". Lucky loved it and Braxton just thought it was funny. I know it's not the best shot of Lucky but hey oh well he's a dog.
I thought I would just put another picture of myself on here for future reference to my hair, and of course i had to take it myself, It is actually lighter in person then it shows in the pictures. Oh, and Brandon says that he is getting used to it!!
CAUGHT TEXTING WHILE DRIVING!!!!!
WHERE'S THE COPS WHEN YA NEED THEM!!

HAHA! He is so funny, he was driving around the house staring at his phone and pushing buttons. He kept running into walls along with Brandon and myself.
I thought is was so funny I had to snap a picture.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
Well, for Valentines Day we got a babysitter and went out on a date by ourselves, seriously just the two of us for the first time in two years, seriously it was nice we went the theater and saw "Valentines Day" and went to Red Robin to eat. The Movie was pretty good, Brandon even said that is was good for a chick flick.
My Aunt Emily and Uncle Lorin were passing through and stopped and stayed the night, it was fun to actually have visitors even better that they were family. It was fun, I made dinner well Lunch, because they had to leave by 2pm. It was so yummy, we had Baby Back Ribs, Twice baked potatoes, carrots and peas, and yummy cake. (below)

I tried making some fondant roses for fun and also for the Valentines Cake with some of the extra fondant in the fridge. I think they turned out pretty good.

Braxton enjoying his Valentine from Mom, he loves chocolates and was so excited, he took a bite of each one and then said he was done.
He was way too quiet in his room by himself so i went to check on him and found this cute little boy all cuddled up on his bed.

THE CAKE
Hershey's Chocolate Cake with White Chocolate Mousse filling, and a creamy homemade frosting. It was so amazing, I am pretty sure this is my new favorite Chocolate Cake!
I topped it off with fresh raspberries, fondant roses and white chocolate hearts
The Inside, oooo makes me want another peice!
