Merry Christmas

“On Christmas Eve the other night

I saw the most amazing sight,

for there beneath the Christmas tree

was Santa kneeling on his knee

His countenance was different than

that all-familiar, jolly grin;

his head was bowed , with hand to breast

and slightly tucked into his vest.

For there in a nativity

Was Jesus and His family.

And as I heard him start to pray

I listened close to what he’d say.

“Lord, You know that You’re the reason

I take pleasure in this season.

I don’t want to take Your Place,

But just reflect Your wondrous grace

I hope You’ll help them understand

I’m just an ordinary man,

Who found a way to do Your will

By finding kids with needs to fill.

But all those centuries ago,

There was no way for me to know

That they would make so much of me

And all the gifts beneath the tree

They think I have some hidden power

Granted at the midnight hour,

But it is my love for You

Inspiring the things I do.

And so when they begin to open

Gifts for which they have been hoping,

May they give You all the glory,

For You’re the One True Christmas story.”

Lots of new things and a little helper

we hit the jackpot on free toys on craigslist, i got over $100 in toys ( if they were brand new) all in good condition and they all work too! Just sprayed them down with Lysol. Brax was in heaven, this is just half of them in the pics

He would stack up the blocks them try to jump over them

Lucky even got some toys, there were some little stuffed animals that were pretty old so lucky had some fun too. what he really wanted was the little fabric book that sqeaked.

waiting patiently for his muffins to bake, he brought me the package when i asked him what he wanted for breakfast. thank heavens for the betty crocker muffin pouches.. just add water and you have 6 muffins in 20 minutes

This is Brax and his new friend Jaden glued to the tv, it was so cute that i found them this way.

He also loves to help me bake goodies

He was driving me and brandon crazy the other night, didn't want to play with us or with any of his toys. so I got out one of my tiny decorative trees and the little plastic ornaments. He thought this was the coolest thing ever he was so proud of himself when he got an ornament to stay on the tree. He would get it on and then stand back look at it put his arms in the air and say "Yes! Did it!"

He thought he was pretty big stuff getting to drink out of the fancy glass, I found him in the fridge with the 7up and this cup trying to get some.

THE GIGGLE FEST

Well he had been grumpy with teeth coming in and tired so before bed i gave him a warm lavender bubble bath, and it turned into the funniest thing ever, no clue why.

After he was all clean and out of the tub I tossed him in our bed to say goodnight to daddy and daddy did this.

Brax really didn't really know what to think, at the beginning he started to cry then thought it was funny.

Today, he shirt seriously got stuck on head it took some time to get it off, it when on just fine.

Fun at home

Well I have got the canopy of my gazebo set up and ready to be put up but brandon has been so busy this past week he hasn't been able to help me. That's okay though, working hard means more money. His usual days the past 3 days have been getting up at 5am and not getting home till around 6 or 7pm.

I got put in as the 10-11 yr olds Activity Days Leader. We had our first activity last night and it turned out to be recognition night. It turned out well, I have to non-members that live near me and they came with me! I also found out that one of the girls just turned 12 so I introduced her to the YW President, and turns out she is getting baptized next Saturday! Now I have to work on the other girl, they are both so sweet and full of potential.

Nothing all that exciting or adventurous has happened at home lately so here are a few pics from the past week.

We took his toy puppy for a walk, funny thing is he calls this puppy Lucky too.

We can't wait to go home for Christmas, but right now we're trying to figure out what to do for Thanksgiving.
