My Birthday

I actually had a really nice birthday this year, I took Brax to kiddie acres in the morning which wore both of us out so we sat home and did pretty much nothing for the rest of the day. My afternoon was like any other, clean up and make some dinner.
But Brandon surprised me with a yummy dinner from Panda Express, an Oreo Cake, Flowers and a card that literally screams "we want ice cream, we want ice cream!" when you open it. Brax loved the card.  When he walked in with it all he also had his family on speaker phone to sing Happy Birthday.  Luckily I didn't eat that much dinner cause I was saving room for some of the cake that Braxton made me. He kept asking me where the birthday cake was and when his birthday was. So I explained to him that it was mommy's birthday and asked him if he wanted to make me a cake, of course he did. So I helped him a little bit but he pretty much did all the decorating with a pourable frosting.
I also got a card in the mail from Brandon's family, Thank You!
My mom called me and told me that she wanted to see me open her gift so I don't get it for 2 months until we get back home.

Here are the flowers and cards.
and the yummy cake Brandon brought home.

Brax lighting the candles on the cake he made me. He was pretty proud of it, we ate some for breakfast.

We ended up having to take these pics with my phone since my camera has been acting up and not flashing correctly after it's been plugged in. don't know what I'm going to do with it.

Kiddie Acres

I woke up Brax after I was all ready to go and figured that since it was almost 9:30am he should wake up, so we can get to the park while it was still cool outside.  Of course he wouldn't wake up, I finally had to tell him that he would get to ride fun rides and also ride a real horse if he woke up and got dressed. He sat up and crawled out of bed, eyes still closed, and tottled to the bathroom. He also wouldn't eat any breakfast. We got to the park before our friends did so we waited in the car for a minute and I made him eat a couple of apple slices before he could get out of the car. He happily ate 2 slices. He was so excited he was dancing around and jumping all over the place.

We went on all the rides once before our friends arrived (she had children trouble) except the horse ride, which we saved for last.  So I had to buy 7 more tickets, so he could play with his friends. and he even got two free rides...one from a family who had an odd ticket and one from his friends.

I even got to ride a couple rides with my little man. Here we are on the Train Ride!

 What a Silly Face!!

 Together on the Carousel

He was in a daze while we sat on a bench waiting for an operator. it was so funny I had to snap a pic.
We even got to ride a Ferris Wheel like ride with cages.
He made some pretty funny faces on this ride!
He kept saying, "going down, going up!"

Showing off how many tickets he had!

 His friends finally arrived!
We will definitely ride together next time.

Oh Sad, He got scared when he was put inside the cage. He had to go separately with his mom.

I thought he was smiling while he was stopped at the top looking down...
Until I zoomed the camera in and saw his scared little face. haha, he was really good at not freaking out.
His First Ever Horsey Ride!!!!
He was so excited! and He did awesome all by himself. He had been waiting all of yesterday and all of the morning to ride this little pony. He was so excited he even had to wear his cowboy boots which are slightly too big. :)

He had also been waiting for a snow cone since yesterday when I told him that we were going to go to the park.
