For Thanksgiving this year our neighbors invited us over for a yummy dinner.

I made this cool little turkey cheeseball and airhead me completely forgot to take it. Brandon and I enjoyed it that night though.

 While we were over there Braxton was having so much fun running and wrestling with his friends.

All the kids piled on top of Brax.

 And Then toppled over.

 Mason started posing with his arms up and Brax thought it was "buzz lightyear" time. So he started to pose too.

 When we got home that evening I gave Brax his little gift that my mom had sent wrapped in his turkey package. I asked him to smile but he wouldn't take his eyes on the gift.

He was getting a little frustrated that there was so much paper. haha!

It was a Pez snowman! He was pretty excited!

 I am so excited for the holidays to be here this year, I wasn't all that enthused last year. I've got my christmas shopping done for Brandon and Braxton and know what I'm getting for all the other people we get to buy for this year except 2 of them. I'm am so thankful for a wonderful family and friends. Now that we've been down here for almost 2 years now and Brandon and I both have seen and felt the reasons we are here and feel that we are where we are supposed to be. The Lord knows us and what is best for us and we just have to remember that no matter what life throws at us or where it takes us, He will be with us guiding us as long as we listen and follow.  We are so so thankful for all of our many many blessing and trials we have experienced together and who they have made us into today. We are so happy (although missing home) at where we are and how things are going. I hope everyone of us remember the best things in our lives and are grateful for experiences we've had.

Preparing for Christmas

 This year I needed to get Brax a new stocking so I decided to make matching ones for all of us with our names. So I started looking around and found these at the dollar store of all places. Then I got some iron on glitter letters for our names.

When I told him that this one was his he asked for a "cheese."

Since I don't have pretty much any of my decorations down here with me I decided to make some decorations out of paper and foam. Inexpensive and somewhat cute. I started with a fireplace and I'm also making a string of foam christmas lights and Tree made from garland to go on my wall with paper and foam decorations.

This isn't the final product but it is what it will look like.

 I let Braxton choose out some wrapping paper at the store and surprise surprise he chose toy story paper.  So I wrapped his door like a present. He was in awe when he saw it with a big smile on his face.

Baseball!

We've been trying to teach Brax how to hit the ball and catch it too. He has pretty much got the hitting down, He hits maybe 3 out of 5 throws. But if he misses even once he is done. We tell him that he did a good job swinging and to try again but he just doesn't see it that way.

So we moved onto horseshoes, which he doesn't understand but loves to play.

I turned around and saw this.
My little boy in my 5 inch heels in his underwear. If he even spills anything on his pants he takes them off.

A Turkey for a Turkey

I have somehow got behind in my posts of what we've been up too and it hit me hard when I was looking through my camera how many pics I've taken and not posted. So This is the third post of me catching up.

My mom (Grandma Merry) surprised Braxton with a pkg for Thanksgiving full of fun stuff.

When I showed Brax the package and told him that it was for him, he was so funny. He smiled really big and then yelled "WhooHoo!"

So here are the pictures of him opening it.

  We assembled the foam turkey that night and he was so good at it.

 Then he tried the waddle but got really frustrated

 So I helped and then he was happy again.

 When he was all done we put them on the fridge and I attempted to take a picture with him and all his turkey's he has made this month but he was being way to silly. So I had to grab him by his shirt and he thought that was pretty funny. So this is the best I got.
