My big boy turned 5!

His birthday did not go the way I wanted his 5th birthday to go at all! :)

But, he had a really fun day and around 10pm that night he asked me if his birthday could be over cause he was tired and wanted to go home. Lol

He Aunt Sherisse's wedding day was the day after his birthday, so the day was filled with wedding preparations. I started his day out by going and getting him a Jamba smoothie for his breakfast and he had requested pizza for dinner. Another bummer for me cause I knew not him was that helium is on a shortage so I couldn't fill his room with floating balloons for when he woke up. I was going to fill his room with balloons on the floor but I forgot to buy some.  Oh and I forgot my camera! how I did that still baffles me and makes me mad, so I had to use my phone all day which wasn't very good in low light.

 He got to go sledding with his uncles unexpectedly. Which was perfect cause he had also requested that we go sledding for his birthday too.

 He got 3 new pairs of pants, gummy worms, a flashlight/nightlight, Sock'em Boppers, spiderman on a motorcyle, Candy Land, and a Go Fish Game. He was a pretty happy boy.

 When we got home that night we went and got the mail. There was a special birthday card from his Grandma Merry waiting for him.

 It was a cool Transformers card that made sounds and was filled with $5.

Lucky was being annoying so I put him in a head lock and Cooper thought it was a cuddle so he came over to get his share.

Braxton is getting so good at writing! Here he is writing "Mom, Dad and Braxton" all by himself from memory and then I had to write down Logan's name for him to copy down.

It's always funner to sit in the box the toys were in then actually play with all the toys isn't it.

Braxton has a bump on the side of his neck and it will get bigger and smaller then bigger again. So I took him in and the Dr. said that it's most likely a benign sist left over from a bug bite or scratch. But just to be safe we went in for blood work. Thankfully everything turned out to be fine.

Logan loves this wind up caterpillar, I'll wind it up and he'll scream and when it's on the floor he'll stomp on it, then run away laughing.

After Christmas Fun

Santa gave them each a pack of glow sticks so we have had some fun glow in the dark bubble baths!

For Brandon's annual snow day, we had barely any snow at all and it was only 13*. We froze, I sat in the car most the time holding a sleeping baby trying to keep warm and Braxton was a trooper with Dad and played in the snow sledding on his new sled that we had bought him that morning. Forgive me on the pic quality I took them from inside the car with my camera zoomed all the way.
