September Chaos

This acutally belongs on our Hawkes Reunion post but it was on my phone and it is too funny not to show. I found him like this past out cold I believe it was our second night.

Telling me to shush cause he was trying to sleep.
First time eating green beans without choking and throwing up!! YAY!

I couldn't find Braxton one afternoon and I knew he was outside even though he wouldn't answer me. So I stepped out to find him burying himself in grass clippings that were piled up in the garden.
The first thing I said to him was "you know there is dog poop and big spiders in that pile of grass, right?"
He jumped out pretty darn quick.

We went to one of Brandon's brothers football games and Braxton insisted on having a this exact picture taken.

The sprinkler was accidentally left on a trickle and who would find it but the water crazed little boy.
Even though it was starting to get a bit nippy I let him have fun then took him in for a warm bath.

First time ever putting himself to sleep!!! I was overjoyed :D

Family Sunday Picnic!

The boys actually ate amazing well! Better then they ever do inside.

Okay, it serves me right for trying to sneak a doughnut before I got home. I pulled out this doughnut and set it on my front seat while I put the kids and groceries in the car. Well in all that fun I forgot that I had set it there and jumped in the car and then started looking for my delicious german chocolate doughnut that I'd been craving. To my dismay I felt something off about my seat and reached down to find my doughnut plastered flat to my rear end. I was not happy but at the same time I was laughing. Needless to say I had to cut my errands short and head home to change my pants and put a tired baby to nap.

Fun walks

We were able to get Logan a free crib from Brandon's aunt so Logan doesn't have to sleep in the play pen anymore ;)

After I had finished digging and re-edging one side of our front yard I gave Braxton the hose to "water" the dirt, while I was on the other side of the front yard moving big rocks. Little did I know Braxton had filled the bottom of Logan's saucer with water. He didn't mind, but it was freezing cold water so I wasn't too happy.

In the middle of moving my rocks about I came across these ugly nasty suckers! I about wet myself when I picked up this rock and saw them. there was a whole nest of them. I ran in and grabbed the only bleach I had and drowned them. they didn't move very long.

Enjoying his Octopus Mac n' cheese!

Last day of swimming

I don't know what happened but in all the hustle and bustle I completely forgot to record most of September.

SEPTEMBER 4, 2012

Logan woke up and decided to come out and play with us too. He didn't realize that the side of the pool would crash in on him when leaned on.

Halloween

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

FROM MY CUTE LITTLE DINOSAUR AND TRANSFORMER BUMBLEBEE!

By far my favorite picture of them :)

Showing off his teeth he got at the trunk or treat :)
I don't think we'll be doing the trunk or treats anymore. There were way to many kids and wasn't worth the pushing and the little amount of treats they got.
But we will be going to the Season's Medical Plaza from now on! It was awesome! They both came back with full buckets of not only treats but tooth brushes, tooth paste, coloring books, pencils, etc. And it only took about 30 minutes for all of it. It goes from 3:30-5pm just perfect for a little pre-halloween trick or treating to hold them off until it time to go house to house. Which by the way was Braxton's favorite! He thought it was the coolest to knock on doors and have them answer and give candy. In my opinion that's how it's supposed to be fun door to door trick or treating in SAFE neighborhoods with you parents near by.
 Playing chase and scream!

The boy's combined load! Logan was so tired he passed out around 8pm
