Football and Cake

We had the opportunity to head to Phoenix with Brandon for his football game and the Aloha Festival this past Saturday.
It seems like a really long drive when we don't really go anywhere.
Staying out of the sun, which he only sat like this for a few minutes. I got my first sunburn and brax got his first tan. Lil' stinker.
Playing with his new toy horses!
I got him a farm animal set at the local store nearby the field and he was in heaven!

Posing with Daddy!
During the last 5 minutes of the 2nd quarter Brandon got hit hard. He had a mild concussion so he was out for the rest of the game. I of course missed the hit cause I ran out to the car to grab something.
Playing in the car waiting for dad!
I drenched his head in ice water we were so hot. He love that too.

Yummy!
A big yummy shaved ice at the Aloha festival.
Playing with all his new farm animals the next day with his big farm house that hinges open. He set up the fence and the animals all by himself. He's getting so big!
Don't even ask...
Don't worry it was a clean bowl with clean water. The first time he tried it he was about to share the dogs, i'm so glad I caught him.
Brandon's bruised forehead from his football concussion.

I set out to make this cake for the Relief Society birthday party Tuesday night. I didn't feel to well with all the stress of everything I have/had to accomplish this week. I was in no mood to make it. but I did it and it was pretty decent for me not really caring.

Then I made a 3 layer vanilla cake just for extra to serve along with the cupcakes.

Snow, Cowboy, Kite, and Diaper Cake!

We had snow this past Sunday for like 2 minutes!
Lucky LOVED IT!
Brax was so excited to see snow, he started yelling and ran outside and then realized that it was really cold  and ran back inside to watch it out the window.

 My little cowboy!
He got his gun a few weeks ago and has been running around the house yelling "weeee haww cowboy!" At the thrift store this Wednesday I found this old straw like hat that looks like a cowboy/farmers hat. He loved it and it completes his look.

Brax got a kite! We had to wait a day or so until we had enough wind to fly it. He doesn't care too much about flying the actual kite but he loves watching it and trying to chase it

Learning how to run with it to make it fly

A friend of mine was lost on what to do for a baby shower she was throwing for a new lady in our ward that just adopted twins. So I pitched in and helped. She wanted it to be a diaper theme. And she wanted a diaper cake. So I started thinking and made some hair bows that were identical but in different colors and tada! An adorable diaper cake! It only took me about 25 minutes to make and I was so pleased with it.

I also make some cupcakes for her too, every one said they were so yummy but being on this diet again I couldn't try them.

Daddy's Lil' Helper

Last Monday (Pres. Day) Brandon decided to get the brakes and rotors changed on my car. In between the bursts of silliness from Braxton, he was trying to be the biggest lil' helper for dad. Handing him tools he didn't need and handing him paper towels when he did need them.

He had to help put the tires back on tight!

This pose was so darn cute, after he had helped get the tire back on he stood there brushed off his hands and then put them on his hips and quietly said "I did it."
Time to check out the engine while they're at it!
Brandon added this fuel saver thing to my car that's supposed to increase the mileage by 22%. Hope it works.

Our CrAzY times between our CrAzY schedules

Braxton and I have had some crazy times this past week, I feel that since i'm gone more now with classes and work study he feels that he needs to burst out with all his funny crazy ideas when I'm home.

Wearing moms jacket
Silly Faces while jumping on the couch

wrapping my jacket waist strap around his head

and trying to put it on me.
We went to the new outlet store here and I let him get this little robber set for $2.
I thought it was a little strange, a gun, a mask, and a sheriffs badge? Okay?
He has had a blast with it.

He insisted on wearing my shower cap in the shower tonight.
He is such a nut! He loved to hear the water splashing on the plastic so he kept putting his head under the water.

That tongue is always out! :)
Trying to get me with the shower brush

And a little tid bit on the silly dogs.
