MOTHER'S DAY, TRAVELING, ETC.

THIS IS ONLY THE 1ST OF THREE LARGE POSTS COVERING THE PAST 2 WEEKS, SO CHECK THEM ALL OUT!

I helped Braxton make some flower pots for his grandmas for Mothers Day, He had so much fun with it and I can't believe how hard it was to get a little hand print on a pot. haha.
He painted white on both of them and helped me paint his hands.
Please ignore my face, this was the same day that I had my tooth pulled.

Washing up afterwards
He asked to have a bath in the sink, seriously he did.
The finished product!
I don't remember what he had in his mouth but at least he has a smile. :)

This is what I got for Mother's Day!
I love it and I have used it a lot already

IDAHO!!!
Well, I was quite disgusted by the MAY weather in Idaho. I froze most of the time.
In 14 hours we experience a 40 degree drop in temperature.
Oh, well we still had fun!

A nasty snow storm right before we hit Pocatello.
And this is what it looked like driving into Idaho Falls.

My first Day in Idaho we went and visited my Grandma Hanson and my Grandma and Grandpa Felsted but for some reason I didn't take any pics with them don't ask me why, because I don't know.
We heard there were baby chick out back so we went out to see them only for poor Brax to find out that "Alex" Cliff's dog was very excited to see him. As you will see the unfold in the next few pics.

Once we got over to the Chickens there was a big hole and I didn't want brax to fall in it and break his leg or something. So Cliff put a board over it and what is the first thing this kid does...thats right, he jumps on it. *sigh*

Checking out a mama chicken and her new babies

Uncle Cliff got one of his adult chickens out for braxton to pet, but he got scared the second it was out of the pen.
Alex was more into the chickens than Brax
So mommy had to take over, and show him that it was a nice chicken.

He finally did pet the chicken after mom did and held his hand through the whole thing, and as soon as he had touched it...

he took off in the other direction.

We went in to see the baby chicks, and Brax was a little nervous but excited at the same time.
He would put his hand down near them and say "come here chicky"

When he got to hold one he was very uneasy but proud of himself...
until it started to wiggle,
and he was gone!
For Lunch on the second day we went to see Grandpa Chris at McDonald's and ate lunch and played while we were there.

That night we went to Chuck-a-rama for dinner, Brax was in heaven.
After dinner we went out to my brother Bryan's house, his neighbors had some new baby horses so we went out there to see them. I was so frustrated when Brax fell asleep before we got there.
But we went out and saw them anyway and left Brax asleep in the car, my brother stayed back also. They were so cute!
Well, on our way walking back to their house I decided that I could swing across the empty ditch on the rope that was there...well I didn't measure how far down that rope went to the ground. So getting as high as I could on this rope and gripping the large knot on it with my hands, feet and thighs... I jumped. I hit the ground and a couple days later I realized that I had a HUGE bruise on the back of my thigh. haha! It hurt so freaking bad to sit down, because it was right where the end of the chair hits your thighs when you sit down.

Day 3 and 4 were spent with Brandon's family.
That Saturday afternoon we traveled up to an old railroad bridge to take some family pictures. Erin's friend (Kate Mower) is doing her internship for Gugelman Photography, so she said she would take them for us. It was so windy and cold, Braxton was crying he was so cold so I wrapped him up in his jacket and mine on the hike back to the cars.
On the drive home, Braxton's uncle Ryan kept teasing him by touching his head, he thought it was pretty funny.

So, Kate posted these on FB and tagged Erin in them so I copied/pasted them.
I think they look awesome! I can't wait to see the final results!

On Sunday it did finally warm up a little bit, and it was near to impossible to keep Braxton in the house. For such a busy day it was quite enjoyable.

And on a sad note, when we got home Cooper was so sick and we were debating whether or not to take him into the Vet. I really felt that we should, so I did...and he has Parvo. It is so contagious and rarely curable if caught soon enough, which we did. We weren't even allowed in the Animal Hospital, thats how bad it is. He has been on treatments morning and night for 4 days now and is finally showing some umph to get up and move around a little. Here are a few pictures of him getting his treatment.

And this is what he looked like today after his treatment!!! YAY!!!
