New Friends

We went over to my relief society presidents house a few weeks ago and then last week she invited us over again. Braxton loves it over there they have a really good dog and they also had a new baby bunny the second time. He loved the bunny and it loved him too. We were told that he was the most gentle kid that had ever held her.

The dog was a great sport when ever Braxton wanted to soak it with a bucket of water.

Always has to have a Popsicle

He said he was a "cool guy" with the grass in his mouth.

Playing peek a boo with the bunny, haha!

They have a great swing set too
I love this he always lands flat on his bum getting covered in mud at the end.

And tomorrow we get the chance to go to the lake to go swimming with them too!

Countdown!

Braxton has been continuously been asking how many more days till we go home to Idaho. So we made a countdown chain together and each morning he gets to take one link off and watch it get smaller and smaller!

Taking off his first link!

swimming and sleepy baby

A little craftiness...
I've been saving Logan baby food containers for a couple days and thought to make them into fun little building blocks with their pics on them. they turned out pretty cute and the kids have loved playing with them.

SWIMMING TIME!!
Logan's first time swimming! He is a water baby for sure!
I bought a small pool and put it on our deck for the boys to splash in when it's too cool to go the pool or I just simply don't want to.

He is a SPLASHER!
And he think's it is so funny, Braxton not so much :)

Watching his fishy swim in it's box :)

The boys even got a chance to go swimming with Dad. The water was a bit chilly so Logan and I spent the whole time in the hot tub.
He's such a little nut when it's time for bed. He thinks it's a game. I will feed him a bottle while he laughs at me and then make sure I get a burp out of him and lay him down all snuggled in his bed.
I always have to go in a few minutes later, it's like his routine or something, cause he wiggles so much trying to get comfortable his binky falls out and he get fussy. I go into him and get the biggest smile and laugh. I just turn him over, replace the binky, and pat his bum. He usually goes to sleep after that.

June! Random Beginnings

I don't know how he got his sock in the saucer (brother maybe?) but he thought it was quite tasty, until he tried to cram the whole thing in his mouth and I took it away then he wasn't so happy.

 Nectarines!!
We had the yummiest batch of these juicy little fruits at the beginning of the month and both boys loved them!

I can't get over how big his little nose looks in these pics! But he's still my sweet cute little tank :)

I've been experimenting with new hair styles. This one is by far my favorite.

Logan was so tired and I tried to do my grocery shopping as fast as I could but we got delayed. We had one of thee biggest flash flood rain storm I've seen in a while. It lasted about 10-15 minutes and I refused to run to my car with my children and a cart full of groceries in that stuff. We'll by the time we made it home he had only been a sleep for about 5 minutes and it was still lightly raining. I didn't want to wake the poor little thing, so we  (Braxton and I) sat in the car and munched on a bag of Frito's that we had just bought while we let Logan sleep for a good 15 minutes until the rain stopped.

Brandon came home with this cool looking table that he got for free on someones drive way.  He called me and told me that he had picked something up, hesitant, I asked him what it was. (because he told me that I COULD NOT! craigslist or garage sale this summer)  He then told me it was a table. My response...what kind of table. He tried to explain it to me so I thought I had an idea of what it was and boy was I wrong! I never thought it looked like this.  It's 4ft high! I was thinking more along 2 1/2 ft.  But we really like it and are using it as an entrance table near our front door and I know exactly where I want it when we move home.

He's trying to figure out how to crawl over things!

A few weeks ago I was in the kitchen preparing Brandon's meals for the day when I hear Brax freak out "Mom! Mom! Logan's outside!!!" We open the patio door in the mornings to air the apt out and get the crisp morning air in. Well that door is now baby proofed with a gate. I knew I would need it! So glad I brought it. I don't have a problem with him exploring out there but we have a small pool with a little bit of water in it (which he loves) and the deck gives splinters easily.

He also discovered that he can make it into the kitchen now too!

Poor baby! I didn't know that I took a picture at this very moment till I uploaded them. Braxton was trying to pull Logan backwards by his feet, back into the front room to watch cartoons with him. Well as soon as I saw him doing this I yelled at him to stop it before logan got carpet burns on his tummy.
Little side note: Logan is deathly afraid of being pulled, tugged, or picked up by his legs. He throws his arms out and tosses his head forward. Which explains this picture.

I explained to braxton why that was mean to do and so he then decided that he wanted to wheel barrow logan. Which was cute, but then I had to tell him the Logan was too little for that too.

My little helper

The other day Braxton spent a full 45 minutes on the computer doing his preschool work. I've tried to make him sit down with me and work on his words and counting but he won't do it. So i searched around and found this website that goes through the entire alphabet and the sound that each letter makes. I also found one that works with math. He does really well and the last three tests he has taken on counting to three and shapes he has passed with 100% without any help from me! If we can only get him past the "I didn't do it the first time I'm not going to try again" phase, I seriously think he is going to be an awesome student this next fall in real preschool.
After he spent all that time doing his preschool work he decided that the front room was too messy with toys and his clothes. He was the fastest little cleaner upper I've ever seen in him.  He even took Logan's toys he was playing with and put them away.

Posing after his clean up spree
Then he turned into the fly killer karate guy! Twirling around and swing the fly swatter.
