Christmas Eve & Christmas Morning

SANTA CLAUS!!
Finally awake and waiting to see Santa!
Well, he was pretty melancholy when he got there

...and shy.

He was so cute awwing at the christmas trees in the mall.
all the little kids watching a movie on Uncle Tyler and Aunt Erins bed while the grown-ups watched the Las Vegas Bowl.

We caught Brax and his little Aunt washing dishes and playing in the water

My brother wouldn't smile for the camera so his wife helped him out! LOL
My grumpy boy and goofy husband

Christmas Eve Presents from Grandma and Grandpa Worthy, (my mom)
A fun noisy guitar, that daddy wasn't very happy with. HAHA

I was really upset with my myself that I didn't have the video camera out, when he saw this present he was so excited and anxious to play with it. He immediately started yelling "TRUCKS, TRUCKS!!! PLEASE HELP! PLEASE HELP! OUT, OUT, TRUCKS!!!" It was so cute.

GOOD MORNING BRAXTON
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

He wasn't very excited to be awake after the sitting up and looking around he laid back down.

Braxton seeing what Santa brought him, lots of cars, candy and toys!
He also got a etch-a-sketch from his Nana and Grandpa Hawkes.

Opening his big Present, which happened to be a bike of his very own!!

He was trying to brush his teeth with his new toothbrush, still in the package

Braxton waiting somewhat patiently for his bike to be put together

SO EXCITED AND PROUD OF HIS NEW BIKE,
HE HASN'T STOPPED RIDING IT AROUND THE HOUSE.

ANOTHER TRUCK!!!

This is the cheeseball I made for Christmas Day

and to finish it all off a cheesy smile and chocolate covered boy.

Temple Lights

Well first off, just a couple of cute pics of brandon and me with brax

Brandon won a MP3 Player and was showing brax how to listen with the earbuds, now he is addicted.

The Mesa Temple

and now the Temple Pictures....

We went with some friends and they have a little boy, brax and him are pretty good buddies

He loved the lights...they were "ooo wow, pweties" in Braxton's words

It was different to see Palm trees all lite up for christmas

The star they had above the Nativity was amazing! I loved it!

This is a model of Jerusalem

My goofy kid loves play in laundry baskets full of pillows and blankets

December 4, 2009

little of this, a little of that

These first four pics are just some cute ones of the last week, finding him saying he was stuck in the stroller, dancing in the tub with a bowl on his head (that was really funny), and in the swing after church.

As I said before he loves to help me cook!
Here we are making a cake

He's a big boy now!
He has successfully slept the past three nights in his own big boy bed all by himself!!!

My little book worm, I find him like this alot

This always happens when he won't take a nap during the day

Okay, little story here. I sent brax into daddy with a sealed bag of marshmallows, well it didn't get sealed back up after dad had given him some and i didn't think anything of it, when i sat down on the bed. Until, brax grabbed the bag by the bottom and took off running leaving a trail of mini mallows down the little hallway until i grabbed him.
We all had a big laugh!

Brax and Lucky watching the Polar Express on my bed

Kinda Random:
For activity days i was in charge of the activity of making the christmas balls.
So here are the extra ones I made

THE LIVE NATIVITY
Unfortunetly Brax was a BIG pain so we just got these two pics afterwards

Warming up together all wrapped up in a blanket, obviously he was more concerned about the t.v.

Merry Christmas

“On Christmas Eve the other night

I saw the most amazing sight,

for there beneath the Christmas tree

was Santa kneeling on his knee

His countenance was different than

that all-familiar, jolly grin;

his head was bowed , with hand to breast

and slightly tucked into his vest.

For there in a nativity

Was Jesus and His family.

And as I heard him start to pray

I listened close to what he’d say.

“Lord, You know that You’re the reason

I take pleasure in this season.

I don’t want to take Your Place,

But just reflect Your wondrous grace

I hope You’ll help them understand

I’m just an ordinary man,

Who found a way to do Your will

By finding kids with needs to fill.

But all those centuries ago,

There was no way for me to know

That they would make so much of me

And all the gifts beneath the tree

They think I have some hidden power

Granted at the midnight hour,

But it is my love for You

Inspiring the things I do.

And so when they begin to open

Gifts for which they have been hoping,

May they give You all the glory,

For You’re the One True Christmas story.”
