July 10 & 11, 2010

A year ago I said I would organize this years summer reunion and it wasn't that bad because I love to do stuff like this. The worst part of it all was the drive up and back by myself with Braxton. So here is how it went.
The day started off with early morning fishing for all those who wanted to go, and then we met at Peterson Park. Once the majority of everyone was there we started lunch (Emily: Hoagie Sandwiches, chips, jello, cookies.), from there a bunch of guys went target shooting and I had made up some Carnival Games for the kids while they were gone. When everyone returned a bunch of people started up a volley ball game while Stacee and I went and grabbed some Ice Blocks for Ice blocking... I couldn't believe that NO ONE had heard of Ice Blocking! It was a blast and no one got hurt, but me. I know, I know leave it to me to get hurt. I bruised my tail bone, didn't land hard, just hit it in the right spot. This all continued until Dinner was ready (Carl and Bonnie: Pulled pork sandwiches, Corn, Potato Salad, and apple cobbler.) Then after dinner was cleaned up we started a Poker tournament and Bingo Game.
A HUGE Thanks to everyone who helped out! I hope everyone had a good time and for all those who weren't able to make it we missed you!

Sunday was pretty relaxed, we didn't do much we played a group game of "I never" and then gave our family reports of the past year. Oh and we ate! Yum Yum! Waffles for brunch (Kristy) and Cafe Rio Chicken Burritos for dinner (Barb)!

After all was said and done, we had about 45 family members attend and we're missing about 60.
